Hi there, I’m Colleen, and I live in Northern California with my funny and lovable husband Tim. I am passionate about kids and about Jesus!

For most of my adult life I have volunteered in the local church as a story teller. My husband and I have done our best to communicate stories and concepts from the Bible using whatever mode or means we could create (i.e., puppets, clowning, illusions, props, drama).

I was also a Speech Pathologist for 30 years and have spent a lifetime developing ways for children to understand language and communicate.

Early on in my career, I fell in love with children's books. The words and pictures could bring life to thoughts and concepts in a more concrete form. Now that I’m retired, I have the time to bring these two worlds together by writing stories that grow and encourage children.

I also know that parents can use these books as tools to generate conversations, talk through tough concepts, and maybe just have some fun.

I am a grandparent of 8 beautiful grandchildren. It has been my pleasure to bring them along in this journey. My hope is that my grandchildren and any child reading my stories would know they are loved, valuable, and not alone.
